7 Pot Douglah (also called Chocolate 7 Pot) is one of hottest chocolate-colored peppers. Rating 923,000-1,853,396 SHU, it’s named ‘7 Pot’ because one pepper can allegedly spice seven pots of stew. The dark chocolate-brown color is unique. Beneath extreme heat is surprisingly complex flavor with floral and fruity notes. The bumpy, wrinkled appearance is distinctive. Makes beautiful dark hot sauces. The heat is long-lasting and intense. One of most prized chocolate varieties among collectors.
