The chocolate brown color is beautiful and the flavor has more pronounced smoky, chocolate notes beneath extreme heat. Some pepper enthusiasts prefer this variant for more complex flavor. Makes impressive dark brown hot sauces. The iconic scorpion tail is still present. This is an extremely hot pepper – only for experienced chile-heads and collectors.
