About This Pepper
Infinity Pepper briefly held world record in 2011 before being surpassed. Rating 1,067,286-1,250,000 SHU, it was bred in England by Nick Woods. The heat is immediate and overwhelming. Beneath extreme capsaicin is fruity flavor similar to habanero but much more intense. The peppers are bumpy and irregular in shape. Used only in extreme hot sauce production and challenges. Not commercially grown on large scale. Interesting piece of pepper history. Extremely hot – only for experienced handlers.
